Elite Veteran Posts: 943 | Looking for the big back window for a 2dr should be the same New Yorkers 57-58 and the Desotos that used that backglass. Does anyone know if any other cars used this window? Edited by FINS! 2017-11-04 12:40 AM

Does anyone know if any other cars used this window? Oddly, somebody was looking the small back window the other day. To which I responded: "Based on the NOTE at the bottom (of the parts list), the big (32" at center) rear window is likely to be PN 1681 702 (untinted) or 1681 703 tinted. EDIT: The small 23.5" window is 1695 443 (clear) and 1695 444 Solex (tinted)." And then I posted this parts list that shows which 547-58 cars used those windows. Other forum members should be able to suggest if they were also used in 1959-61. Edited by 56D500boy 2017-11-04 10:01 AM

Location: Parts Unknown | The different backglasses were consistent from 57 to 59 model years. The new unibody cars in 60 were a whole new enchilada, including glass shapes and dimensions, although the windshield hole was held over even into the plucked chicken years on the big cars. PN's will be different, but if memory serves, a 57 NY'er windshield would fit into a 64 Dodge 880, even though the profile is different.

Expert Posts: 2289 Location: Eastern Iowa | Probably not for an A/C car. I have 2D's and a C, and an F, all have shaded and tinted glass, all have A/C as well.
