I am looking for information on the 392 water pump that is connected to my 331 poly engine. My old buddy who knew EVERYTHING about these cars passed away a couple years ago and did the work up to this point. Where does the temp gauge sensor mount? And the heater hoses that go to the firewall?

Interesting I see one hose bib on the front water manifold but not a second. I think the temp sensor is somehow in the 392 intake manifold. Not sure about the 331 poly.

These are all I have. Hope somebody will get you better info.

On the passenger side, on the rear of the crossover is a threaded hole that seems to pass coolant. This is either for a bib or the electrical connection.

The heater hose connects to the water pump for the return portion. The other heater hose connects to the rear passenger intake manifold water port. You are correct that the port on the crossover is for the temp sensor.

Now that you say that about the 2nd hose, Howard did say something about that. Thanks. I sure miss him. He was a great Mopar, Forward Look friend.

Some of the above shows in these 300C single and dual quad 392 photos (found by googling "Chrysler 1957 300C engine bay")

Even on this very ugly one:
