Elite Veteran Posts: 943 | Has anyone ever reproduced the board headliners? I'm working on a '57 Dodge Sierra wagon, the boards have a cool pattern but some are shot. If not anyone have any experience with the converstion kit that's made? Any suggestions on where to get the sunvisors recovered (they are board too). Lastly where can I get the plastic washers that sit between the door & window handles and the door panel. Are the GM ones really the same? Thanks

He says it works great and no one can really tell the difference. I didn't get details on it unfortunately. Talk to a local upholstery shop to re-cover the sunvisors. I don't know if the chevy washers are the same, but does it matter? I would just use those. If they are a little too big, you can always cut them down.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1102 Location: Hayward, Calif | Door and window handle washers, I made my own !! Get a thin piece of clear plastic from Home Depot, a couple hole saws and cut em out. Debur the edges and put em in place. Works Great Jerry

Elite Veteran Posts: 943 | Thanks. My concern on the window washers was if the hole big enough. Not much left of my originals. Looks like I have a lot of choices. Wow $811 for headliner board? I'll contact them and see, the Home Depot route might be my best option, had not noticed that there before. The 57 Dodge has a cool boomerang pattern, a shame no one reproduces that.

Elite Veteran Posts: 693 Location: Kangasala, Finland | I had one good left on my '57 Plymouth. I draw a 3d-model according to it and 3d-printed a new set. Seems to work just fine, are correct pattern and size. Here is a picture of the test versions. The color is wrong on them. I used the correct lighter gray color on the final version.
