What are the lowest mileage and/or most well preserved FL's that you've ever come across online or in person? Has anyone ever found a brand new FL that went unsold for decades like the Lambrecht Chevys?

There was a collection out of Plainview, TX sold at auction about 15-20 yrs ago with some unsold Forward Looks. I recall one still being around, think it was a Pink/White 1955 Dodge 2dr Sedan with 12miles. Haven't heard of any of the cars though in 10yrs. Weird...

Lads --
In 2000, I was fortunate enough to buy my Big-Tailed Beast (SonoRamic Commando equipped '60 Fury 2-dr H/T) from the heir of the original owner who was closing out his late uncle's estate. At that time, the BTB had some 43000 on the clock but now it has about 57000. The uncle, a rancher in one of our high mountain valleys, made a few bucks at the Grand National Stock Show in Denver in 1960, saw the car in a showroom window at Bill Goodro's Chrysler-Plymouth on Colfax Avenue, walked in, plunked down $500 cash, and said he'd be back in a couple of weeks with his '54 Chrysler to complete the deal, taking delivery on February 23, 1960. A couple of years ago, I was at Bandimere Speedway for the "MOPARs at Thunder Mountain show in Denver when a gentleman came up to ask if he could photograph the Beast. It seems the nephew had passed away and he wanted the pics for the memorial service as he not only knew the nephew, but also the car and the uncle very well. As we talked, I mentioned that I thought that with ranching in Colorado being a 24/7 job, the car had probably had never left the state after the uncle bought it. I wasn't too disappointed when my new acquaintance said that wasn't quite true as the uncle had a brother in Wheatland, Wyoming (north of Cheyenne on I-25) whom he would occasionally visit, but other than that it was strictly a "Sunday-go-to-meetin'" car.
After I got the car, I replaced the cracked windshield, the right taillight lens, and the carpet. As to the rest of the interior, side panels and headliner were immaculate. The seats had that clear plastic stuff on them and underneath were absolutely cherry, so I pulled that plastic off. It had been garaged in a barn with horses which tried to lick the hood and rear deck lid for salt, but finding none, tried chewing them, so I had those tooth marks rubbed out. I also pulled the heads for a valve job.
Other than that the Big-Tailed Beast is original and, in fact is probably the one of the most original '60 Plymmers around, especially one with the SonoRamic Commando mill.

This is (might be!) the lowest mile Imperial I have seen.

http://imperialclub.org/Yr/1957/OriginalBlue/index.htm

I saw an ad for a 58 Plymouth here in Australia that had a claimed 8000 miles on the clock. I couldnt find any info on it though.

Steve.

This 31-mile '57 Savoy went up for auction in 2013. It had 29 miles at the time.

This one, owned by FL member islander62 was in heated storage from 1980 through May 2017. Paint and interior are completely original. He won't mind me posting this as he's not into resizing photos. It's a Canadian production 1961 Saratoga four door hardtop. New Yorker gills were likely added by the dealer at the original owner's request. The car was in the original owner's family until Chris (Islander62) bought it in May.

I have an all original 65 Imperial thats a 3 owner car with 20,000 miles but not FW. I also have a 57 Dodge D500 my great uncle bought new. Its about 90% original but did get driven and has 80,000 miles. My other great uncle has a 62 300 he ordered new that is all original. Not a letter car but it has almost all the letter options added but just misses the FL cut off.
