Bead blasted the black air cleaner canister on my 58 Chrysler today; I have a couple of questions about it before refinishing it.
What gloss of paint would be factory correct on the air cleaner canister?
Is the mopar sticker that was on the canister reproduced?

They seem to be gloss black from the factory, but it is hard to tell with old paint. The decals are reproduced, although I am not sure if it is the right part number on the decal...but it probably is.

I hope you washed it out thoroughly with soap and water; glass bead residue will static cling with most other cleaning procedures. Even if the openings were taped up well, the little suckers will get in.
