Location: North Australia | These are such way out looking cars. Must have been a blast picking up a new one back in 1960. I recon I would have ordered a black one with a white interior with the lot! My favorite Dodge I think. Steve. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960-Dodge-Polara-/172876164033?hash=item28... Edited by 60 Imp 2017-09-21 5:48 AM

LOL It really does look like a motorless car, but my guess is that it does have the motor in it, but that the rear springs are broken or the mounts for them are broken, making it sit dead on the rear axle. Question is why - because of rust perhaps?? (60PolaraSide.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 60PolaraSide.jpg (238KB - 70 downloads)

Elite Veteran Posts: 690 Location: BELTSVILLE, MARYLAND 20705 | Never buy a car for this money without going to look at it-- verify the title, vin, and seller and most important the car. A round trip to California is about $350.00 right now... Spend 350 and not loose $15.000.000 or go see it and buy the car. This way there is no guessing... Veteran Posts: 157 Location: bountiful, Utah | Isn't this the same guy who has the red 1960 Polara Convertible who restored it about 10 years ago? It got a lot of press, including on this website. Sean Machado was his name if I recall correctly. That is the town he lives in, I believe

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9604 Location: So. Cal | Why do you guys associate this seller with Sean? They do both live in the same area and have similar Ebay names. I have personally met Sean and bought a '69 Charger cowl from him. He seemed like a good guy and had 2-3 '69-'70 Daytonas and Superbirds. I beleive that Sean goes under the name r4daytona on ebay, whereas this guy goes by v2daytona. Very similar and they sell similar type of stuff. But v2daytona seems very confused because he can't seem to figure out what his own name is and his accounts - phone, wire transfer etc aren't listed to any of his names. He has called himself Chris Houg, Harrison Najera, and possibly more. But at least there is an actual person living in Palm Desert with the name of Christopher Houg and his address is easy to look up. Christopher's father's middle name is Harrison too.

If you open up this seller's ebay profile, you can see the list of names they've gone under in the past. Here's his list: v2daytona Feb-24-17 -> Present hemiwingwarrior Jul-10-10 -> Feb-24-17 206.889mph May-28-09 -> Jul-10-10 f6daytona4spd Feb-12-09 -> May-28-09 hemiwingwarrior Dec-18-08 -> Feb-12-09 Definitely odd that you would need to change your name so much.
