Good starting point for someone looking for this model (or a F parts car?).

I highly doubt the price is going to end up low enough to use this as a parts car.

It would be a shame to use this as a parts for for an F or anything else.

The seller had this on Craigslist and got down to $17,500, I tried to buy it but he was firm on the price so this will be interesting!

That car looks good, if you want a parts car look at the 4 door next to it in some of the pictures. Says it runs also.

...and its a 4dr hardtop with the big back window!! I like those about as much as the coupes. That one should not be a parts car either!!

Tell us more about the big back window on these 4 door hardtops, how many were small window vs big window? Was it only on New Yorkers, or was it on the short wheelbase cars also? Was the large window available on 4 door post cars also?

It was very random. Some models made the big back window available on sedans and hardtops. Some models only offered them on hardtops. Some models made the big window available as an option. Some models didn’t offer it at all. From my research, here are the models that offered the big back window:
60 Windsor 4drHT
62 Newport 4drHT (it was an option)
60 Saratoga 4drHT (it was an option)
61 Saratoga (canada) 4drHT
60 New Yorker 4drHT
61 New Yorker 4drHT
62 New Yorker 4drHT
60 Adventurer 4dr sedan & 4drHT (except Canada cars)
60 Polara 4drHT
60 Polara 4dr sedan(it was an option)
61 Polara 4drHT
64 Custom 880 4drHT and 4dr Sedan
60 Matador 4drHT(it was an option)
60 Dart Phoenix 4drHT
61 Dart Phoenix 4drHT
60 Fury 4drHT
61 Fury 4drHT

What is this box to the side of the radiator? Is that stock or something added? Looks like a windshield washer, but I thought these cars were still using the bags in 1960?

Standard Trico windshield washer tank and pump that has a water time relay built in for to be able to Control the number (time) of dry wiper sweeps for to leave the window as dry as possible....
Also used by GM, in Corvettes and high price cars
