There was more than one of the cars built. Whether it's the actual one she rode in is up for debate. I posted this thread about the car back in 2010. More of the history is recounted on the thread --- http://forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=30921&post...

It all depends on condition, of course, but it's a pretty swanky ride for $55K. That is a convert, after all..

ASSUME that the car needs a complete restoration, and he wants $55,000.00 to start off. And he has not posted any other photos of current condition. This car was one of six built and may NOT be the actual one that Princess Margaret actually rode in.

Oh. I thought it was Princess Di. I figured Elton John woulda paid big bucks for it. They were close friends, you know.

There's a seat for every a**hole. Why is it anyone gives a damm
that some princess parked her's in this one ? That fabric pattern is
awful and should only be viewed with loud and wretched bagpipe noise
before putting the muzzle of one's pistol in their mouth and pulling the
trigger.

You'd think they would picked her up in a Windsor. I guess they didn't want her to find out they named the lowest priced model after her peoples. or country. Or whatever a Windsor is.
