My 60 Fireflite was manual everything. It had special order 12" brakes
and had no stopping issues at all. Steering took some Armstrong work
when moving slow, like trying to parallel park, but at any reasonable
speed was no problem at all. In fact, I liked the very positive feel I had
for the road without the power assist.

back in the day manual steering was ok . not the perfect scenario but good . my dart is manual after i changed it from power . parking is the only minor workout but i think it's fine . driving along
from 0 with minor turns 55 , 60 , 70 it's almost like power steering , unbelievably easy . the trick for parking is to not turn the wheel unless moving but backing up and turning is a one handed
breeze . pulling forward again it gets sticky -----------------------------------------------------later

Who cares if it has power brakes or not? Far more important is that it has the rare and desirable door-panels-held-on-by-trim-screws option.

aah, yes, its heartwarming to see those cars are finally treated with care and appreciation, even though you can find em on every corner and they are so butt ugly and ride like crap.

Looks like a nice car. It'll be interesting to see how high the bidding goes. Since it's a dealer, reserve price is probably 50K+.

Carb is for a 57 Dodge D500. Just FYI.
