Hi,

I have some trouble with the turn lever coming back to neutral position, and so I find sometimes myself with the turn signals going on for several miles before I notice it.

I was wondering if I could replace my flasher with one that makes a noise like in the modern cars.

And was it a contemporary accessory at the time ?

Thanks.

I would also look around under the dash for a mounting clip. They used to be common and were at one time available I the aftermarket - by mounting the flasher on the dash frame someplace it amplifies the noise the flasher makes.

". . . . so I find sometimes myself with the turn signals going on for several miles before I notice it . . . ."

Add a buzzer as shown:

Directional Flasher:

And when you get nervous about, then you will automatic stop the flasher!  - SERGE -  :)
