Location: New Castle PA | Some of you, I know, are much better at using the SEARCH features of this site to find things than I am. If you're good at it and willing to help, please do so. I recall a discussion, perhaps a year or so ago, about a persistent problem with front brake shoes dragging/locking up. After much bantering, one fellow (maybe from Europe somewhere, as I recall) "discovered" that the angle of the "tang" on a brake shoe, that goes against the adjusting cam, was critical. He showed pictures of several shoes, some with different angles to that tang, and some worked better than others. This was a possible solution to the common problem of the lockup. I can't find that discussion, and if you CAN, I'd appreciate it very much, as I have several folks I'm working with that are facing the same issue. Thanks in advance!
