Looks like a nice one, although I wish the pics were of higher quality. Starting the bid at $30K seems reasonable. It will be interesting to see where it ends up.

Unusual options include a gasoline heater and Auto Pilot. You don't see many of those.

What happens if you lower the windows at 122 MPH? Car looks nice considering the opening bid, terrible photos though.

Makes you wonder what kind of guy he is from his statement "I have been building cars for aprox. 50 Years, I finish them and don't drive them, this has been driven about 10 miles in the last 20 Years".
And above that he states he built it for someone else. (" Customer wanted it white like the one He had new")
I can never figure out people who restore these cars and then don't drive them. I just doesn't make any sense whatever in my mind.

It's a fair question. Personally, I've never really understood that, but I've learned that this hobby represents different things to different people.

I can kind of see where if I did a truly 100 point frame-off restoration, I might be afraid to drive the car on the road, since even the first drive will get dirt in certain places. I guess that's why I've never been interested in doing restorations to that level.

For this particular car, I suppose that "10 miles in the last 20 Years" has kept the car nice and may benefit the next owner. I'm not currently in the market for a 300D, but if I was, I'd investigate this one a bit further.

I love to drive my car. I've put 28,000 miles on it since 2008, and I can honestly say it looks better now than in 2008. I'm pretty meticulous about keeping it clean everywhere.

His writeup doesn't make a lot of sense. He says that he did the car in the 90s...customer wanted white. If he was doing the car for a customer 20+ years ago, why does he still have it ? Also, he says, "his has been driven about 10 miles in the last 20 Years. So let not start with the can I drive it home stories". What does that mean ? Can you drive the car or not ?

I checked the Chrysler 300 roster and this guy has owned the car since at least the 90s. Also the car was originally black, as he says.

some of us build, some of us drive...

I like building more than driving in traffic

Sometimes I make them too nice to drive... and then I'm like "darn" I shouldn't have made it so nice...

I think at those speeds a lady riding in the passenger seat would have her brassiere disappear!
