Those don't look like the version I am used to seeing. Are these later style, like for '60-'61, or maybe even later?

To my knowledge, there were at least 3 different styles of twin-strut mirrors supplied by Chrysler from 57-61. Here's what I believe to be true, based on what I've observed over the years. For the sake of convenience, I'll call them styles 1, 2, and 3. See photos below for reference. I have provided 3 photos of each style.

Style 1: Seems to be correct for 1957-1958 models. Note the small teardrop shaped base and the simple mirror head design.

Style 2: Seems to be correct for 1959-1960 models. The base is larger than Style 1, rounded in the front and squared off in the back. Larger "hooded" mirror head with unique turbine look where the head meets the mount.

Style 3: Seems to be correct for 1961-1966 models. The base is similar in size to Style 2, but squared off both the front and the back. Has the hooded mirror head but without the turbine look where the head meets the mount. I've seen some very nice repop mirrors of this style for sale lately in the $200 range.

These are what I believe Chrysler supplied if the mirror was ordered as a factor option. Where things get messy is that in those day, many cars came with no outside mirrors, but they were a very popular dealer-installed item. I imagine a mirror or two was commonly pushed as an "upsell" along with floor mats and undercoating. Of course, the dealer installed whatever mirrors they had in stock which could include last-year's part, or any number of non-mopar aftermarket parts. Also, some owners or used-car dealers may have added mirrors later in in a car's life.

The three styles look similar, but it's worth noting that they have different mountings and use different gaskets.

I'm not the authority on mirrors, and if I'm wrong, hopefully someone can correct me.
