| I do belive they are, but have obviously never had all in my hands at once; I had a ? year 57, 58? Chrysler roof linkage ,and a wrecked 57 dodge linkage (bent steel links, one missing, and one back arm broken at pivot (common failure,by the way , someone trys to open roof without unhooking it, BANG )--- side by side, some parts the same, some Dodge parts shorter in the roof folding area ; I belive the whole small car roof is a few inches shorter. I was able to rework the chrysler pieces to make the Dodge linkage whole . = measure on one at a car show if you can. I should have ; but width the same (re: the three pieces)--- has to be , as windshields within each year the same .
Had to make one back arm in machine shop from billet , added to rest of what was left.
Someone had taken whole roof off the 57 Dodge convert in a junkyard , car is restored now with good fixed up roof linkage parts from a dodge wrecked top , and some modified Chrysler, all works but no leading edge trim. Another bad problem on these, FYI, ---if left outside is front header rusts out under that trim. Had to make that 100% from scratch on a 300C convert . In your search you may end up with finding that three piece section, let me know..We can help each other. |
