Regular Posts: 70 Location: Minnesota | Looking for a set of decent aluminum inside door panel pieces. Mine look all beat up from a former owners reupholstery project. Leads and information is always appreciated! Thanks, Mark (IMG_4065.JPG) Attachments ---------------- IMG_4065.JPG (99KB - 74 downloads)

Regular Posts: 70 Location: Minnesota | These look far better in this pic than they do you in person. Lots of dents from the back side.

Regular Posts: 70 Location: Minnesota | Still looking for a set of these... need not be perfect as I will be reconditioning them... Don was very helpful although his set has a different pattern than the ones in my car, that also match the dash. Attached is a closeup pic of the panels and the pattern stamped in them. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9650 Location: So. Cal | I have one of these for the driverside that I would trade for a '58 Chrysler version. I can't sell it as it is currently the only thing I have. But It isn't perfect either so it may or may not be better than yours.

Regular Posts: 70 Location: Minnesota | Don has a nice set. They need a little cleanup and reconditioning but a good place to start. They have more of a diamond like pattern. Perhaps they're more like the ones in your New Yorker? Here is a closeup pic. (Closeup 2.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Closeup 2.jpg (208KB - 68 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9650 Location: So. Cal | That is the '57 Chrysler. But I need a left side for a '58 which looks like the right side in this photo. (58ChryslerPattern.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 58ChryslerPattern.jpg (187KB - 73 downloads)

Regular Posts: 70 Location: Minnesota | Who would have guessed they made so many different patterns for essentially the same part.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 309 Location: Western Colorado | Nathan, Here are some pictures. The circled area is the only very small dent. You really can't see it from the front but can barely see it from the rear. The rest has lots of very fine scratches. Most you can't even feel. Let me know if your interested. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9650 Location: So. Cal | That would be great if you could sell me a left '58 Chrysler version. Let me know how much. I am afraid that my DeSoto version isn't in that great of shape. It has a number of bends in it and will probably need to be stripped and re-coated. Here is a picture of it. I thought that this was a left that I could use on my car, but now I see it is actually for the right side.
