Although it's early spring I'm just..oh well you guys know how it is to be behind on a project. I decided after I bought the 55 Desoto with this transplanted 56/4bbl 354 cu.in Hemi in it that I would build an Engine Test Stand to run it on rather put in my 57 Coronet 2 dr. and then start sorting out the problems under the hood. All I can say is "Too Much Youtube" I promised Big M a video but so far I haven't figured out how get it from my smartphone to Youtube ……LOL So here's a couple of photos of the Hemi on the stand I did have it running today I still have to flush the block cooling system prior to connecting it to my new radiator on the stand You guys will have say to yourself Vroom…. VRoom well looking at the photos.

It looks good! Go to the app store on the phone and search for YouTube and add it to your collection of apps. You should be able to transfer the video to youtube that way.

Glen: Nice job on the engine stand. Are you going to convert the 55 Desoto to 12V or the 354 to 6V?

:)

After I pulled the engine in Dec.and I sold the car I just don't have enough space anymore for all the cars and I'd probably never get to it anyway although the 55 Desoto does have have a place in my heart. My 57's Dodges will keep me more than busy. Thanks for the comment this stand became the object rather than a project as I started the design from scratch. There's a lot happening in that 21st.ft. of space just to set an engine/trans on it for testing and work.

I see you opted for the chevy water pump conversion. I'm planning to leave my 354 as in for now, that's why I sent you a pm I'm looking for an thermostat housing in good shape as the two I have are rusted out. I was wondering if you might have one to spare that's in good shape. Let me know if you want to part with one

Yeah I didn't want to split it up, mines not great, just some corrosion around the lip.

Your not able to weld yours up?
