Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | The '57 Chrysler New Yorker has a New Yorker emblem with a small Chrysler script below it in the recess created by the back seat dip in the center. The Fury has a flookerang in the same place. I think I remember that the Adventurer had an Adventurer script in that spot. Does anyone know if the Fireflite and Dodge cars had anything placed there? Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | I've never seen the Fireflite or Regal versions. Thanks for sharing! It seems that a lot of the emblems used were used on the dash too, Chrysler included.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | KP Bilar has this emblem listed as being for the '57 Dodge - I assume that is would be for the rear seat dip. I have never seen this on a car. Looks like it is made of aluminum. Anyone recognize it? (em2.JPG) Attachments ---------------- em2.JPG (18KB - 335 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | All the Regal Lancers that I have looked up have the lancer with shield embossed in colored vinyl, similar to what is on the rear quarter. Paul, this isn't the same emblem as what is on the door sill. Also, this '58 CRL has the same embossed Lancer as you stated. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | That's really neat. Thanks for sharing Dave! I should have titled this thread for all of the emblems to have them all listed in one place. Likewise, my '57 New Yorker fabric isn't in the greatest of condition, but it is good to have a photographic image for the proper placement of the emblems from an original car. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | This picture was the best I could find for the '59 New Yorker. Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like it said CHRYSLER above the emblem. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | Thanks Dave. So it looks like the Chrysler script goes below the emblem just like on the '57, but it seems lower position than on the '57, and has a bunch of pleats to the sides of it. Can you dig up some pictures of '59 DeSoto & '59 Plymouth seat dips?

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | This is the seat dip emblem for the '59 Fury. Kinda boring. I am tempted to glue/sew a different material in the background of it and use a metal Fury emblem in the center instead of getting the embossing done.
