Location: Lower Mainland BC		One of the many things I need to do to my car (56 Dodge Custom Royal 4 dr D500) is replace the windlace around the door openings. I was playing in the back seat are today (making a new parcel tray to mount two 6 x 9 speakers below the 5.75" square openings) and I noticed how the windlass was sort of clipped to the door opening. Not what I expected. Now I am concerned that I will be more than clueless when it comes time to replace the windlace.

I also notice a strange little panel between the rear door rear-most windlass and the wheel well housing. Mine had been replaced a some point but it had crumbled to dust.

On the upside, I removed the dome light a discovered that the headliner was originally light blue.

Any help on the windlace will be appreciated.
