hi my name is mike w, and i own a 61 fury coupe
i am looking to have a 61 aero wheel recast

i called quality restoration and d and d steering wheels . but not sure if there are better choices out there.

they both quoted me 1800.00 which is alot of coin but i know its alot of work.

any ideas?

I used Quality to do the swirled pearlescent (did I spell that right ?) green
and white "de luxe" steering wheel for my 58 Plaza. It went to them as a
nearly bare steel core, after sitting in the Arizona sun for 50 years. A few
phone conversations were had to discuss my details concerns. I sent them
a number of photos of originals showing the pearlescent "swirlies". It came
back perfect in every detail. Worth every penny.

I am having my Areo wheel recast at D & D in North Carolina.
When it's done I will post some pic.

I had mine done at home to save some money My dad and I have been working on my '61 for 3 years This is what I how my dad restored my aero wheel.
