Since my 55Dodge has been parked for the winter, I have found that my MC lost its fluid. I checked it out & determined that it leaked out the back on the inside of the firewall. Since I have to replace it, I'm thinking of going to a dual master cylinder. Has anyone else done this successfully? What MC did you use? I found one listed with"Auto Anything", it's an " A1Cardone" product that is listed for a55 Dodge. Is a proportioning valve necessarily on 4 wheels drums, or is it simply a matter of disconnecting the existing lines from the block that is there, & adding the necessary short lines to complete the hook up? I've read some info that says a "Residual Pressure Valve" is needed.Does that apply to this situation ? I'm a novice, so any help is appreciated.Thanks.

Late 60's mopar , drum/drum, try #1323. No prop valve needed.

I have one ordered, but am worried that it will not work for me, as it only has a 1 inch bore. The 55 is 1 1/8 bore.
