I am trying to come up with my original bumper jack, and mounting hardware for my 1957 Dodge Custom Royal. It doesn't seem to be in my possession which is hard to believe since i saved the car, all parts, and all other cars from my uncles collection. If any one can help me with pictures of theirs that they know is original, as well as of the trunk mat I would be very appreciative of your help. My car is about 90% original or more and in very nice shape so I am trying hard to get the last few things together to make it correct and take it to Hershey this fall. I put a picture to gain some interest.

My uncle bought the Dodge new and its a D500 3 speed so for me its pretty hard to beat. But my other uncle bought the 300 new and its a 413 with dual 4's (non letter) so its pretty special as well. The 58 was won by a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, then traded to a local dealer, bought by the mechanic there, and sold to my uncle by his widow a good while back. I love the feedback. Hopefully I get some intel on this trunk situation.

Can't wait to see them at Hershey!!! The best show on earth!! Where abouts are you located?? The Das Awkscht Fescht show in Macungie is also the good one.....lots of Forward Looks show up on Sunday....and yes, AACA will frown upon non-original tires!!!

I already put correct tires on the Dodge and what a difference it makes. It will be the only one in the group at Hershey. I am only a few hours from there on the west side of PA. Where are you talking about sideshow? It sounds like its in Germany... but something I would be interested in going to if I can.

It's Pennsylvania Dutch for "The August Festival". It's a three day show, always the first full weekend in August....just google it and check it out...usually about 400 cars there Friday, 1200 on Saturday, and about 1000 on Sunday. Preregistration only! It's in a park, on grass, really nice show....

I dont believe there was any mounting hardware for the Dodges...the jack went under the bracket that holds the tire up in the area...the bottom jack plate sits in the wheel with the "J" hook hold down screw.....the lug wrench slipped inside the jack shaft

Awesome idea with the owners manual. I will check that. I should have thought of that. I finally came across a picture of the trunk of one today which was amazing. All these years I wondered where the weird white and grey wheel my uncle was switching between the 58 Desoto and the Dodge would of came from, now I know. Now if I can just get a good picture of an original jack and hook up close I would really be doing well. I am super excited to know I have the original spare now though. Now I just need the lens for the parking brake light and the bumper jack and base plate and I am in business. The article below is a good read for any forward look guy by the way.

Does she work there? I think I have heard of that place but never researched it. I have been calling Moore's for a few months trying to come up with the lens and jack.
