Location: San Antonio TX		Got my bonus, and now I am officially in the market for a 57-58 Desoto. Hardtop 2 or 4 door. Looking for something in the $5-6k range. Must be drivable or near drivable as I can't have a non-working car where I live. Rust ok as long as most of the body is solid and structural integrity is not affected. Frame must be solid. Does not need to be all original, so if it's got a swapped out engine or aftermarket parts, that's ok. This car will be a daily driver, so I'm more interested in something that I won't too guilty about making modifications that improve drivability at the expense of originality. Not interested in sedans or anything outside 57-58. If it's some sort of rare variant like a spring special or something, I'd probably pass on it too as I'd rather see a car like that be restored to original condition rather than be subjected to the wear and tear of daily driving.
