I am looking for a color code/match to do the underside of trunk lid and front hood. I haven't found information online showing the grey color information. My recollection is this was done for several years in the Plymouth line. Pictures of original lids that show color line would be appreciated. My project was found already dismantled and primed. Thanks.

I asked that question before and the answers were not definitive:

At this point, I found a Rustoleum/Tremclad dark(ish) grey that is very close. I am going to darken a quart of that slighlty with a pint of Tremclad gloss black (starting with a 1/2 pint or so) until I get a good match. Tremclad dealers cannot/will not tint their oil base Tremclad paints.

But hey if somebody comes up with the proper code, I'll go that way.

Maybe something here:

As the quote says:

That grey paint varied between plants, time, etc., it's been reported that left over paint would be added to it as well to save some cost instead of throwing it out.

So any pleasing shade that goes well with your paint scheme will be just fine. Marc.

I thought the 1960 cars were body color in the trunk and underside of the hood
