Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the doors from a 2 dr sedan vs a 2 dr coupe. I'm looking at possibly purchasing the sedan doors to replace my severely rusted coupe doors.

The skins are probably close enough to use but as mentioned the complete door is different. Would it be better to try and find complete doors? I f your skins are rusty what about the rest of the doors?

I've been looking for complete doors but not much luck. The bottom where the skin folds over is rusty as well but I'm pretty sure I can weld on a new strip and then install the better skins.

What you are considering is fairly simple. Door width and height is the same, with the exception of where the window frame protrudes upwards. I've done the same thing several times in the past.

how bad are you your doors? I have a set in Ohio off a 58 dodge.  Two door ht doors are near impossible to find nowdays.

They need some patching at the bottom but i can do that for a little extra.  There is no dents in them or just buy them for my skins.

I was pretty sure they were the same dimensions, only difference being the window frame.

Exterior handles (and mountings) are different, yes...
