Expert 5K+ Posts: 9900 Location: Lower Mainland BC | I know nothing but I *think* PNT= paint = UXU seems to be paint codes, U, X and U where U = Bamboo Yellow and X = Ermine White so yellow roof, whiteish body and yellow accents? REFERENCES: http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?year=1958&manuf=Ch... http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/chipcreate.cgi?year=1958&manuf=&make=Ch... Here is a white yellow white 58 Saratoga (maybe XUX paint code??) Edited by 56D500boy 2017-01-29 11:06 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9900 Location: Lower Mainland BC | kenbiello - 2017-01-30 5:08 PM Thank you! Anyone with the rest of the options? Thanks all! In my experience there isn't a lot of decoding information resident on this forum. You will probably have to contact FCA Historical Services and fill out and send an info request form and send it in with $55. Start with this and request the pdf of the application: http://www.fcanorthamerica.com/company/Heritage/Pages/Historical-Se... No one here could help me with my much simpler cowl tag. I've applied to Chrysler Historical Services and expect a response any day now (I submitted Jan 9th and people who sent their applications in on January 6th have info back already). Dave F. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | Looks like you have a well-optioned Saratoga. Cool. More is known about the Detroit built cars than the LA built cars like Dave's. Here are some of your option codes: 303 6-way power seat 412 ? 334 Power Antenna 347 Instant heat heater 403 right side mirror 327 Rear speaker 441 Music master radio 302 power brakes 301 power steering

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | Could you post up a pic of your original fabric if you have one? I have 026 trim in my '57 New Yorker as well, and would like to see how similar it is to the '58 version.

Veteran Posts: 121 | some interior pics. Looks like some old JC Whitney seat covers from the 60's? on the front and back, but you can see the original skins underneath (interior-58-saratoga.JPG) (interior-58-saratoga-2.JPG) (interior-58-saratoga-3.JPG) (interior-58-saratoga-4.JPG) Attachments ---------------- interior-58-saratoga.JPG (112KB - 116 downloads) interior-58-saratoga-2.JPG (111KB - 112 downloads) interior-58-saratoga-3.JPG (184KB - 113 downloads) interior-58-saratoga-4.JPG (112KB - 118 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9654 Location: So. Cal | Thanks. Your interior is in a lot better condition than mine. Looks like the gray vinyl is the same as the '57 version, but the fabric is quite a bit different.

Veteran Posts: 121 | SMS Interiors has what I need to restore the entire interior, maybe for you too? I filled out a form, they sent me swatches of everything. Not cheap, but if you need it, they got it.

Veteran Posts: 121 | ok, just got the FCA production record from Danielle today Other than some typo's in the report (which I have emailed her to have corrected) it looks like the car came with: Build date: October 25, 1957 Ship date: October 25, 1957 Shipped to New Bedford, Mass (1) Undercoating (1) Generator, 30 amp, 5" frame, low cut-in, no A/C with Gas Heater Power Equipment 2 = brakes 3 = seats speaker 7 = rear shelf speaker antenna 4 = power antenna heater 7 = instant heater bumper guards 6 = front and rear (my fronts are missing) mirror 1 = left outside mirror 3 = right outside molding 2 = insert with paint radio 1 = music master punch card is kinda hard to read.......
