Can anyone verify that the 1955 Plymouth 10" drum spindles are carryover parts from '54? I want to get a disc brake conversion kit ordered, but '55 seems to be a changeover model year.

There were many changes for 1955, I doubt that the front suspension and steering escaped.
If you want disc brakes call Charlie. http://rustyhope.com/site/mopar-discbrakes/

It seems that the change that occurred in '55 was by serial number and plant; "late" was considered to be all Los Angeles and Evanston built and Detroit built after #13842484.

Charlie assures me that if the spacing from the bottom bolt to the top bolt is 7 1/4" it's the same as a '54. I guess he should know.
