I have a 1957 Chrysler Saratoga 4-door sedan for sale. PS, PB, PS. This is a project car but not a basketcase; it's very complete, and with a little luck you could probably have it driving in a weekend.

This car has been sitting for over 15 years and definitely needs to be gone through. I did spent about one hour with the car and had its 354 Spitfire engine running off of a gas tank on the ground. It sounds pretty good and and did not smoke (video available), though of course it will need a full tune-up to be ready. I haven't tried to drive it, nor have I messed with the brakes yet - they aren't working but the wheels aren't locked-up either.

Body is very solid for one of these, though it does have isolated rust issues. The right side of the car is worse than the left, the worst of it is in the right rocker and right lower rear quarters. Floors look good overall from underneath. This has been a Colorado and Wyoming car from day one.

I'm not parting this car so please don't ask. Has a good Colorado title. I'm asking $3000 or best offer.

This beauty now runs and drives.

New coil, plug wires, plugs, rebuilt carb, fuel filter, tank dropped and flushed, replacement sending unit, and fuel line flushed. Starts immediately, idles nicely, and has good power with no smoke.

Rebuilt master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders, new hoses up front, and flushed/bled brake lines. Brakes work great - booster included.

Replaced leaking radiator with another I had out of a '59 Chrysler - no leaks.

Transmission was down 1.5 quarts. Hits all gears and shifts well.

Price is higher now - asking $5k, OBO, or trade.
