We just picked up this 57 desoto adventurer . Ed Petrus found it for us and we've been after it for about 6 months . Not sure our plans but we want to get it running and driving and go from there. Rust free car .

Get an app called CropSize, it will let you cut down photos on your phone fairly easily. 250-500kb is the size limit iirc.

Wow! Great looking car! Hope the engine is till free from all of the sitting.
Careful with those twin antenas , as they will catch the sides of the garage
doors! Have to remember to lower mine every time! Is the car still in the
states?

It's my dads ride. Motor is free just messing around with distributor . Everything on the car works electrical wise. This car was obviously taken care of . Power window power seat car . Our plans are just to get it running , might touch up paint and polish the trim. This car is still in the states

I posted up your photos following the hints on posting photos that I wrote for this forum:

http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=64340&...

I am not sure why your photos don't automatically show up. It might be because they are all the same name and the forum program doesn't know what to make of it. You might want to consider using unique names for each photo, at the very least, Image1, Image2, Image 3, etc.

I am now going to post your photos by right clicking on their image location/name info and inserting them into the img src="photoURL" protocol that I explained in the post above.

Thanks Ian. That makes more sense (??!!) than my unique name suggestion. No actually, I think unique names, with .jpg at the end is the way to go.

Looks like a very nice and complete ride. Good luck with it. Hope you manage to find a Jiffy Jet washer bag to replace that (ugh!) FoMoCo item.

Hi Mike,

Just looking at you're interior pictures, does the seat cloth match the door cards, looks different to Adventurers cloth on ghe seats?

They definitely replaced part of the interior at one point in time. The dark colors were changed. Everything else looks original .

None of those photos show up because the extension needs to be .jpg NOT .jpeg. I think this was mentioned before:

This is the correct seat material and SMS had in stock not too long ago. Door panels have the same material. SMS shipped it and we had it in a couple of weeks after our order was placed.

Nice car and keep us posted with your progress.
