These are on what looks like a 56 DeSoto. Not sure what the N56 door tag means. Also the other body tag was on the front of the car just behind the grill.....not on the firewall. What is paint code 137? This car is at a local wrecking yard. What is model 45?

Just curious.

N56 would be a Detroit-built 1956 New Yorker. The data plate looks like a 1956 Chrysler one.
137 would be cloud white and desert rose according to 1956 paint chips.

The tail light backer metal is different for Chrysler and DeSoto
because of the three tail lights vs. the single on the Chrysler.
This is a Chrysler body shell.

They have several finned cars that are nice. Almost all are just shells.
