I am not sure if this is the right folder to ask this question will the dash speaker of a '61 dodge work in a 1961 plymouth? my size is 6x9 Mine needs to be repaired or replaced

most of the speakers I saw were 6x9. I would not repair an ols speaker, i will it just buy a modern one, the sound is a lot better and the pair cost around $50.

Thank you Denis . the 1 to my car is ripped. I for got to ask this is there a way I can have it to were I will be able to hook up 2 speakers to my factory radio

The OP didn't state what radio he's using but, with original factory radios, one needs to be aware of the different ohm ratings.

The Dual coil speakers can be connected 4 or 8 ohms or even stereo. I can really recommend these speakers, you'll be amazed by the sound of them.
Had mine for 3 years now and still no problems (although they're made in china)

The speakers can be of higher ohm than recommended, but you are not going to have a loud sound out, which is the case of adding another speaker. Installing lower values of Ohm speakers can cause damage to the equipment, even that the sound would be louder.

It seems that the old vacuum tube amplifiers, which were common on older FL cars, are sensitive to speaker impedance and can be damaged with the wrong speaker; with newer solid-state amplifiers not so much so.
