Expert Posts: 4034 Location: Connecticut | Never have seen one in that color. Maybe a Canadian color ? Is this an original or restored car ? Is the interior correct ? How rust-free, original is it ? Any more pictures ? Ron

Yeah bumper windows and trim matter alot... And ones man's fair is another man's junk...
Like you mean rust? Cracked window fair? or rust free? Seats shot, seals shot, runs? doesnt run? needs painted, needs chromed? How much rust? floors good? floors shot?

If you can get it for less than 6K, I'd say go for it. Pictures would still be helpful. What I'm imagining may be a lot different than what you saw. Ron

Sorry, but there were no spring colors for 58 Plymouth. There was only a Silver Special, with sportone side mouldings and silver painted roof. If you can prove otherwise, I'd be willing to add that to my 58 Plymouth documentation. Ron

Expert Posts: 4034 Location: Connecticut | Sunset Beige(code R) was a replacement color for Canyon Gold (code Z), according to Plymouth Technical Service Bulletin #37. It probably started its life as a tan color, as seen in the paint chip. But like 59 Dodge Biscuit color, its pigments probably weren't stable. So it faded to pinkish over the years. Elite Veteran Posts: 854 | Thanks Bill for posting that 59 Plymouth color chip chart ,I knew I saw this on a chart before for the 58 Plymouth spring colors but I couldn't remember where .I always liked that color It is not seen often , I have thought of maybe doing one of the 58 Mayfair convertibles in that color since it would be corrrect for a 58 US built Plymouth where the Mayfair convertibles where Built .
