Subject: Poly Fuel Pump Spacer Replacements?

Location: Pearland, Texas, McPherson, Kansas		So for the past few months after replacing my mechanical fuel pump, I have been battling leaking problems from the gaskets between the spacer and the pump itself. The spacer that I have has a fairly thin mating surface where it contacts the fuel pump and that is what I believe to be leaking. I want to try a different spacer with a thicker bottom mating surface to see if that will solve the problem. Does anyone know where to get spacers that will work on my 354?

Location: Peoples Republic of Oregon		You could make one yourself...that area doesn't get very hot, isn't stressed much.....
just about any solid material...
