Expert 5K+ Posts: 9899 Location: Lower Mainland BC | It would be interesting to read what it says but I do NOT have the photoshop(ish) tools to make it happen. Perhaps somebody does?? REF: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1956-Dodge-Prestige-Sales-Color-Brochure-Adv...

Expert Posts: 1231 Location: York County, PA | Thanks, Bill, I read everything but the convenience group. I have a question - does anyone know what defines the appearance and convenience group listings?

Expert Posts: 1819 Location: Vancouver, BC | ruchaven - 2017-01-02 7:13 AM Thanks, Bill, I read everything but the convenience group. I have a question - does anyone know what defines the appearance and convenience group listings? I don't have the exact items for those two groups for the 1956 Dodge, but basically the convenience group would have contained such items as variable speed wipers, windshield washer, map light, hand brake warning light, glove box light, trunk light - items that make things a little easier for the driver. The appearance group would include such things as wheel covers, stone shields, electric clock, padded instrument panel, white wall tires - things that make the car look more attractive (at least in the eyes of the sales people).

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9899 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . Old thread that I just refound today. Thought that I would put Serge's (Sermy's) and Bill W's (Chrycoman's) work together in one image: (56DodgeWagonSalesReceipt_WithBillWInterpretation_1280.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 56DodgeWagonSalesReceipt_WithBillWInterpretation_1280.jpg (148KB - 37 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9650 Location: So. Cal | Thanks for posting it Dave. It looks like he got ripped off by $2, making his actual trade-in value only $1127.72. You can never trust these guys!
