Subject: Push button interchange (chrysler to desoto)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado		Would it be possible for me to use the trim for the torqueflight push buttons from a 57/58 Chrysler in my 57 desoto? I actually have a shifter mech from a dodge and i have no doubt the shifter itself is the same, its just the trim. If i can source from a chrysler its a bit easier to get i think.

Location: Blackpool, United Kingdom.		The mechanism itself will interchange, you might find the Dodge one has the stater switch on the rear and you will have to remove the front bracket as it bolts straight to the die cast dash trim on the Desoto, the front cover should be the same just a different design on the front, 57 & 58 Desoto's have different patterns, you will need to use you're push buttons from the Chrysler as the Dodge ones are different .
