Location: Pacific Northwest | Hey there everyone,
I just got an NOS carb off of ebay and I am wondering if I should do anything to it first before I just install it?
I was thinking that considering it's age I might want to pull the accelerator pump out and soak it first but what else?
Thanks, Andrew |

After a week or so, pull it out and empty it, go over the screws and give it a try

Location: Pacific Northwest | Well I went with Denis on this. Bolted, fueled and it went off without even a hickup. All I had to do was set the curb idle. Oh, and swap out the air cleaner. Seems the NOS carb has a vacuum pot on it that the other carb did no have and my air cleaner wouldn't fit. |
