Anyone know if any rear disc conversion kits for imperials retain the 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern or change it?

I want to keep all bolt patterns the same. If I buy AAJ his is 5 x 5.5, so asking if the rears that some suppliers have also retain the bolt pattern? I am not finding the time to give the suppliers a call for the past few weeks during business hours so asking here in case someone knows. I want to avoid having 5 x 5.5 up front and 5 x 4.5 out back as well as avoid the need for adapters or universal wheels etc...

Thanks

About 10 minutes into the video Jay discusses the rear disc brake conversion they did on a '58 Imperial and kept the original bolt pattern.

Well I had a chance to make a few phone calls today and ask about a rear disc conversion kit for Imperials and retain the 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern.

1. Wiwood - no kit but can piece something together if I provide some dimensions.
2. ECI - no kit
3. MBM - no kit
4. AAJ - no kit
5. Scarebird - no kit

6. Kanter auto Products say they can put something together but need a few of the dimensions and the kit would be 5 x 4.5. $800

I may go with a rear kit that goes to a 5 x4.5 bolt pattern and just get adapters or universal wheels. Rear kit will need a parking brake option since I plan on converting to an overdrive modern trans sometime in the future.

you can piece together your own kit from the comprehensive wilwood catalog. all sorts of undrilled rotor hats with different offsets. even the drilled single bolt pattern hats still have enough meat for a custom job. that is if the inside diameter is larger than the imperial hub.

i did piece together my own kit from wilwood components in the late 90s. never regretted my choice. these are great brakes. the 4 piston aluminum/stainless calipers still work great and never caused any problems.

Prior to reading your post I was actually looking at different rotor hats. I found wildwood has one that is a 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern part number 170-12575.

Try making your own . I would use Suzuki Jimny -Vitari discs and use a suitable caliper, takes around an afternoon and cost very little.
