Location: Branson, MO | The style looks much like the ones on my '59 DeSoto Firesweep but these look like they have been recovered and not factory original. I may be wrong but I just don't recall seeing anything like these before.

Location: Jamaica Plain, MA | I don't know. But oddly, there is a weird discrepancy about which one (of the basic shape) goes where. I think the bigger part goes forward, but I've see many people put them on the other way. I had a 4 door and they were small part forward. All my 2 doors had them with the larger end going forward. I've seen them both ways, but I still don't have an answer. I put the big part facing forward. It looks better. |

Location: 33844 | My 2 cents --- small end forward -- looks aerodynamic , and when door open armrest angles toward passenger . |

Location: Branson, MO | My '59 Firesweep 4 door sedan is totally 100% factory original regarding the interior and the larger end is forward. However, I have also seen them reversed but did they come from the factory that way? I don't know. It makes sense though because your arm would actually rest on the larger end if it was at the rear for more comfort. |

| They have been recovered (a not very good job at that) but I think they are pre 1957 Mopar. I'm not sure the exact years but 1956 and older is a guess.
