I've started to reassemble my 1958 Belvedere after being apart for a few years. On the upper control arms does wider part go toward the front? I didn't notice/ remember when taking it apart. I looked at the manual but couldn't tell for sure. It appears the wider part goes towards the front of the car. Didn't see anything to indicate left or right on the arms themselves. Thanks
John

The front bushing mount is higher than the rear one. The ball joint mount is tilted to compensate, making it parallel to the ground. Hold one up to the car, then the other, and it should be obvious.
