Hello all . I haven't posted in a while. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the summer. I am finally getting to the job of installing my dual quad intake on my dad's 57' Belvedere. I had purchased a pair of nice oval 58' style fiberglass air cleaners some years ago with the intention of finding the original carbs. for the setup. The air cleaners came with base plate adapters for the original carburators. But I decided to go with the Edelbrock performer carbs. instead. Does anyone know of an adapter which will fit over the air horn of these carbs. Any help will be appreciated. By the way, the man I purchased the air cleaners from said he had the adapters for the Edelbrocks years ago when I was undecided on which carbs. I would use but I have been unable to get in contact with him. His name is Mike and the company name he used was "Dynadinc". If anyone knows him please let me know so I can contact him for those adapters. Thanks for your help. Mario.

The adapter in the link adapts large air cleaners to small carbs, not vice-versa.

I, too, have looked for adapters to fit the small air cleaners to the big carbs (could use one right now), never found any.

Du you mean adpater plates like these?

I also have the fiberglass air cleaner covers. The adapter plates are scratch build by a body shop to fit a dual quad setup, Edelbrock Performer 1403 + 1404

Thanks guys. Actually the gentleman who made the fiberglass air cleaners got back to me. He said I could get them from Amazon under Edelbrock part # 8092. It is a carb. spacer adaptor.

Location: So. Cal		That's not going to work. Those adapters are just to increase the height without changing the diameter, so it looks like fabricating your own plate is your only option at this point.
