Expert Posts: 4034 Location: Connecticut | Hi Everybody - I'm selling this original Shell Pink and Cloud White 1957 Chrysler New Yorker 2dr HT body shell. The body is mostly solid with some rust out in the rockers, a little in the trunk, on the trunk lid and a bit on the lowest part of the passenger quarter panel behind the wheel well. Floors are super solid. The car comes with a set of rust free fenders and inner fenders, bumpers, front seat, rear seat back. the VIN tag is on the A-Post. Note that there is no drivetrain and the car is missing the hood, grille and bodyside mouldings. The only glass is the rare solex large rear window, which is in excellent condition. This would be a great starting point for that rusty New Yorker that would cost $$$$$ to repair. The body panels are shared with the 57 thru 59 Chrysler 300 as well. Here are some photos of the car: https://picasaweb.google.com/102043414493156232244/6296015632507860049 Best offer. Extreme Veteran Posts: 363 | That looks like a darn good donor body Ron. You wouldn't have a '59 DeSoto big window body in that condition by any chance? Owen

Owen A lot of the sheet metal, including the doors, lower quarters and possibly the floors would be usable on your '59. To answer your question, no I don't. Ron

Veteran Posts: 133 | dont have any pic but i had just a 57/58 floor replaced on a 59 and pattern are big difference the top model dont have the bolted sheetmetall for the steering-box and the the 59 are different if you have power-seat (in that area) so if you use a 57/58 floor you better use same year frontseat ,, otherwise you have to sit on a pillow...(regarding-powerseat)

Location: Parts Unknown | There are also some serious mods in the rear box rail and quarters where the new style bumper was integrated, nevermind the ugly-azz fin treatment in 59.
