Location: The Mile High City | macedon - 2016-04-24 5:41 PM So how many La Femme's are still out there?? Precious few! These types of situations make me nervous. I could see where the current owner perhaps bought this car in 1982 for $200. They park it in the yard for 34 years, watch idly as it disintegrates and think it is now magically worth $30,000. Oh, and by the way - no title (lost it). It is a recipe for hurt feelings, frustration, and a car that's never coming back. I hope this one has a different story! Elite Veteran Posts: 963 Location: San Antonio, TX | I certainly have seen the situation you describe. I am pretty sure this will not play out that way. They have a very nice restoration shop on site. The La Femme is waiting in line for its turn. Hope so anyhow.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 335 Location: California/Wisconsin | It's great to see another uncounted La Femme has survived. I have closely followed these since obtaining mine in 2007. There is a defunct website that had a registry in 2003-4 (www.dodgelafemme.com) and listed 4 1955 models and 8 1956 ones. Mine is the Brush CO one listed. I've seen or heard of here and on various sales sites of only a few more of each year. I have spoken to Chrysler Historical and they have not done or allowed anyone to review the microfilms to see how many were built. LAFEMME is plainly stamped on my build card in block lettering. It would have to be a labor of love to go through them, as Darrell Davis had done with selected muscle cars.
