Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Has anyone installed poly graphite control arm bushings in their car? Did you like the ride? Do you have the part numbers you used? Thanks! Marc.

Location: Under the X in Texas | I did so on one car decades ago when they were "new and hot" I did not care for the "jolt" or shock that came with every road imperfection. If you are building a pure performance chassis, fine but I would not put them in a street chassis again, personally.

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | So are there good and bad rubber bushings? I understand some get squishy quick and nos ones are a little hard. Moog, Ac delco, not Kanter, or what manufacturer ?

Location: Under the X in Texas | I get spring bushings from ESPO and most other things from NAPA I would not buy aged rubber bushings. Rubber constantly deteriorates as it ages, hardens and dries out. |

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | I have mounted polyurethane bushings in the front eye of the leaf springs combined with new harder rubber type bushings in the rear shackles.
In the front suspension I have ordinary new rubber bushings.
The car handles totally great with great cornering and road hold - like day and night
I have re-forged leaf springs with one extra second "main" leaf.
The ride is more or less the same comfort as before.
Poly in the front end would mean better road hold and less comfort.
