Location: Under the X in Texas | Spring Cleaning: I saved this rare '56 Dodge Coronet Suburban two door from a salvage yard in Las Vegas, New Mexico 1.5 years ago. Couldn't stand leaving it there! 270 Poly V8, Powerflite, manual steering and brakes, tinted Solex glass all around but some are broken including cracked windshield. Tailgate glass excellent. Deluxe interior with the silver Mylar inserts in the door panels but will all need restoration. Right side door was dented, perhaps sprung, but I purchased a replacement door, needs adapted from Plymouth trim. Have NOS door exterior stainless for both doors. Have NOS right rear chrome fin topper which was missing when purchased. I put Marvel Oil in the cylinders but so far can't turn engine. Left exhaust manifold is broken. Fuel tank was punched open in some accident. There is rust in the right side sills and the right rear floor that needs addressed. Asking $3000. Tlhis is an excellent project for someone due to its rarity. Priced to sell quickly and priced so that you have room to start investing in a nice build. These are very hard to find. I'll deliver on my open trailer to any city within the borders of Texas for cost of diesel. Car is located just west of San Antonio. Many more pictures avail and questions welcome. Expert Posts: 2002 Location: Branson, MO | This ad reminds me of a description of a lost dog I read some time back: Lost! Old dog with one ear missing, broken hind leg, tail lopped off, blind in one eye, no teeth - answers to the name "LUCKY". REWARD!

Look on ANY map. Name on the state is writ in bold TEXAS. The X is in the middle, right? I'm underneath the X: Central, South. Simple

The acetone will help the trans fluid to penetrate past the rings and free them up. Now that you have the cylinders filled with MMO, you could add some straight acetone to see if that will help it to penetrate. If I hadn't already purchased my '70 Satellite and '61 Lancer wagons, I would be considering this one.

Location: Under the X in Texas | I'm aware the ATF /acetone mix has been the hot deal for the last 5 years or whatever, but for the forty five years prior, many wrenches, including me have been very happy with Marvel Mystery Oil. I'm not looking to spend more time on the car and then raise the price, I need to sell the car at this low price. Next owner may want a 440 or Hemi in it anyhow and this engine could get tossed. But thanks anyhow, I'm sure your intent was to help.

Location: Parts Unknown | Yer killin' me here, Wayne (Stay strong, stay strong - whispers to self) This is a great car and I even have a roof rack for it ! But I just painfully sold my D500 wagon last year and must stick to my guns in restoring what I have and not hoarding more projects ! I once owned an all-grey version of your car with the D500 package. Former Navy car of some sort. I suspect it survives, but considering the usual bent for these, was probably painted red and white by now and made into a bling machine.
