I finally finished installing my new radiator in my '56 Imperial and I'm very happy with the results. I removed and carefully measured my factory radiator and C&R did the rest. It fits perfectly and most importantly it actually keeps my car cool (the factory radiator was leaking and couldn't keep the engine cool at idle). They now have files to make this radiator again, so if you need a radiator for your '56 Chrysler or DeSoto you know where to go. Just keep in mind that in my case I had the upper tank hose stub made 1.5" instead of the 1.75" factory size given my unique AC and Alt belt & thermostat arrangement.

Looks like a nice setup. How much did that radiator cost you? I would suggest using a larger air cleaner if you can fit one as those small ones tend to create quite a bit of restriction, especially as they get dirty.

It was expensive, just over $1200 delivered to my house. Included the shroud, fan, relay and temp sending unit. It will be less expensive for the next guy as the design and engineering is done, that's why I thought I'd share.

The air cleaner is temporary. In fact, it's just a filter with an old Dodge K-car wheel center cap on top. Still need to clean up my wiring too, but just want to make sure everything works first.
