Welcome to the gang Sahnu - I guess that you're from FinLand!

The best thing is to post your question under "Fender/VIN Tag and Broadcast Sheet Decoding", there will be someone of the Dodge boys that will help you out.

Please take some pictures of the VIN-tag and the Fender-tag and upload them to your new thread.

Could we also please have some photos of your car?

Oh my, that's a beauty, congrats to a fantastic car!

Take some pictures on the fendertag - this will give some more information, or, even better, send a request to Chrysler Historical and get the information from the first source:

http://chryslergroupllc.extra.chrysler.com/company/Heritage/Pages/H...

I got infor about my '60 Chrysler that I didn't know and never would found out, even though I have collected most of the codes for Chrysler '60

A 2 under the 45 signifies white convertible top.

All I can tell from the VIN is that it is a Royal or Custom Royal built fairly early, maybe Jan?

4 APA, for 57 Dodge except convertibles, is deluxe two tone, roof, fins and lower, black and middle gold. For convertibles all the paint is the same but the convertible top is coded separately.

What may help is to search this forum for old posts where Neil decoded 57 Dodge data plates. It may point you in the right direction.
