The original tank on my 1960 was rotten so I ordered one of Van's replacement tanks for a 61 which is 20 gallons. The straps from my old 23 gallon obviously don't fit.

Problem is they make a 20 gallon tank and 23 gallon straps. Does anyone know a source for either 20 gallon straps or 23 gallon tanks for the 1960's?

Thanks for the link Mike! I'll get the 23 gallon and be back to normal.

If you could post the results of how it fits, that would be great. Might need one for a 1960 Chrysler.

Thanks for the image. Do you have any problem filling it with California gas nozzles?
