Hey guys,

Most of the pictures I see of engine compartments show the coolant sticker on the top of the radiator support. I am familiar with an older version that is a yellow tag with a couple of wires that either "tied" around the filler neck of the radiator or "tied" to the overflow tube near the radiator filler neck.

My question is when, or what year model, the tag was replaced with the sticker? I am under the impression that once the metal overflow tube was abandoned in favor of the rubber hose, that was when the sticker superceded the tag. Does anyone know for sure? My '59 DeSoto has the metal tube overflow but there is no tag nor sticker on the car. I'd like to get a reproduction version of the correct one to put on the car.

Thanks!
