Last I heard the Gene Adams block will be available in aluminum...not sure if having two shops re-cast these will be
of any benefit cost wise. Adams and crew were talking in the $4-5K range for US cast part, and more for the aluminum.
Time will tell.

If they want to sell any of these, they had better bring the price down in the 2500 range for the iron block. Otherwise the market for them will be extremely small. I can pick up a used 30 over block for $1000 and they aren't that hard to find. This new block could offer some benefits and give me a bigger bore, but it's never going to happen at $4000-5000.

But the real question is: Where are the new cranks? That is what we really need, not new blocks. How about stroker kits? Make this for a reasonable cost like 440 source does and you would have a real product that people would buy.

Good point on the cranks. I often wonder why Scat or Eagle or ? hasn't offered one. There should be another rough casting/forging close enough to use.
As is, custom billets are in the $4k range.
