| Hello everyone and thank you for the help with me buying the 57 fury recently. Im in love with the car and cannot wait to get started on the engine/cosmetics.
I have the car now and the fun couldn't wait until I got it off the trailer!!! and I'm looking for a few pointers with this brake set up. It is a stock system with no power brakes. If you put the car in gear and roll a few feet at will lock so hard it feels like the wheel will break off. If put in reverse its fine. Back into drive and it will roll for a few feet and lock up again. Has new line, shoes and pistons. I tried to clean it as if it were contaminated with minimal success. I was surprised to see they cannot be adjusted??
So, I was thinking the return spring, or the pedal possibly not returning up all the way? Im about to take a frigging palm sander with 40 grit to the shoes.
Thanks for any insight to begin with.
