Expert Posts: 1493 Location: New Castle PA | Another internet friend of mine is asking me to help sell his car. This car is in Virginia. It has around 88K miles on it and has had 3 owners. It was repainted in 1991, has no dents or rust (according to seller), and has always been garaged. It comes with a lot of extra parts. There are a few non-original items, like the air cleaner and alternator, but most of all, the seats have been changed. The incorrect wheels are on the car, but the original wheels and covers come with it. Seller is asking $30,000. Email me for contact information, please. desoto@pathway.net Edited by 57desoto 2015-02-12 7:14 AM (dsmith_s25_dash.jpg) (dsmith_s25_eng1.jpg) (dsmith_s25_eng2.jpg) (dsmith_s25_front.jpg) (dsmith_s25_frontint.jpg) (dsmith_s25_headliner.jpg) (dsmith_s25_lfront.jpg) (dsmith_s25_lrear.jpg) (dsmith_s25_lside.jpg) (dsmith_s25_rearint.jpg) (dsmith_s25_rfront.jpg) (dsmith_s25_rrear.jpg) (dsmith_s25_rside.jpg) Attachments ---------------- dsmith_s25_dash.jpg (53KB - 150 downloads) dsmith_s25_eng1.jpg (66KB - 149 downloads) dsmith_s25_eng2.jpg (67KB - 149 downloads) dsmith_s25_front.jpg (46KB - 147 downloads) dsmith_s25_frontint.jpg (59KB - 145 downloads) dsmith_s25_headliner.jpg (41KB - 153 downloads) dsmith_s25_lfront.jpg (47KB - 149 downloads) dsmith_s25_lrear.jpg (46KB - 145 downloads) dsmith_s25_lside.jpg (57KB - 144 downloads) dsmith_s25_rearint.jpg (43KB - 152 downloads) dsmith_s25_rfront.jpg (52KB - 148 downloads) dsmith_s25_rrear.jpg (49KB - 146 downloads) dsmith_s25_rside.jpg (64KB - 151 downloads)

Elite Veteran Posts: 699 Location: Los Angeles, California | I thought it was optional to have a tall back window? Nice car, not exactly a deal by any means....but...still nice to see a lesser Firedome

Location: Parts Unknown | During "the years that matter" ( ), the Adventurer is a HP "thoroughbred" car built off a Fireflite "base". Firedome was a purposely built "down-market" model, with cheaper interior, trim, and the lack of nifty new styling details like the high back glass. Firesweep was an even cheaper trimmed version of the down-market Firedome with the Dodge frame, chassis, drivetrain, and the obvious nose. It wasn't until the 1959 models that the high back glass was offered as an option on the lower models. Why does the header say this car is a Fireflite ?

This confusion comes because you've written the wrong headline. First I also thought, why ....... and finally I've seen, that this car is a Dome. BTW, what a nice color combo

Expert Posts: 1493 Location: New Castle PA | UGH! I HATE when that happens. I started typing and my fingers failed me. The car IS a FireDOME, obviously. Not trying to be evasive, as I know the difference between the models. I simply mis-spoke, and hopefully corrected it now, which may cause even MORE confusion! To me it just looks like where someone has peeled off the old Service Stickers .

Expert Posts: 1886 | In the 5th picture looks like primer spots or some greyish color spots in the door jamb. Just seemed odd.

Hmm,, See what you mean Mike,, Maybe they the remains of the back of service stickers, But can also see where the paint appears all chipped as well, Just as though they used a scraper to remove the stickers.. .
